The new fragrance Sacred Groove, launched in May 2022, is inspired by the work of Italian Domitilla Biondi, who creates beautiful art from plain white paper. No, these are not drawings or origami. It is a pure act of creativity - she cuts out images on paper, blows them up with a scalpel and gives volume and beauty to the flat paper. As the THOO brand says, "Art makes tangible what dreams are made of." The fragrance was created by perfumer Christian Calabro.
Sacred Groove starts soft and ethereal, like a conductor waving a baton in the air, with light and delicate movements. Orange starts juicy and becomes airy, sheer grassy green lavender and rose in a powdery warm cloud. But the melody of the white fragrance that follows is more correctly called warm and oriental. This is not pure and cold white, but white in warm sunset lighting. Like clouds bathed in the pink and amber light of sunset... like the white marble architecture of the Taj Mahal looking golden at sunset... like a carving not on paper but on pink marble.
The warm white color of Sacred Groove is created with classic white materials: spicy clove, white powder ions, iris and coumarin, on a transparent woody-amber background, tinted sunset gold with myrrh and labdanum. He could make a good oriental chypre - the perfumer stopped a few steps away from him, creating a golden amber scent even closer to oriental fougeres, with a nice counterpoint of lavender and light smoke.

Top notes: angelica and bitter orange; Middle notes: Turkish rose, iris, jasmine, lavender and labdanum; Base notes: spices, patchouli, myrrh, amber, musk, tonka bean, vanilla and woody notes.
